How To Use the NKFF Library

NOTE - You must be a currently paid-up NKFF member to borrow any books, maps, tapes, dvd's etc from the Library

WHO DOES WHAT
NKFF Member

Looks at the NKFF Library List (either on the website (the PDF format even provides SEARCH capabilities) or on a printed copy obtained at any regular club meeting) and determines which item(s) he/she wishes to borrow.

Emails or Calls the CLUB LIBRARIAN (or any club DIRECTOR or OFFICER (listed on the website Officer/ Director/Mentor web page) to ask if a certain book, map or video tape is available from the library (providing the Item # Title and Author/Producer).

Receives a request by either email or phone call, checks his or her copy of the club Roster to ensure that the member requesting an item is still active and in good standing with the club (if there is any question on this matter, the Librarian or Officer/Director should contact the club Membership Director for verification).

Checks his or her copy of the library master list for whatever item number the member is calling about and informs the borrower of the item OWNERS name and phone number.

NKFF Member Calls the item OWNER to see if it is available.
Item OWNER & NKFF member Arrange between themselves to get the item to the borrower and get it returned in a timely fashion.
