Description
This is Mike O'Brien's version of the Clouser Minnow, an immitation created for finiky
carp. Check out Mike's carp article in the September 2003 issue of FLY FISHERMAN.
Recipe
HOOK: #4 Mustad 3366.
THREAD: Light Cahill Uni-Thread 6/0.
BODY: Two sections of buff colored fox tail, remove the guard hairs. Tie
in one on each side to give the appearance of crayfish claws.
LEGS: Bronze Flashabou and copper Krystal Flash.
WING: Reddish-brown fox tail with guard hairs removed.
EYES: 1/50 oz. lead eyes, painted red with black pupil.
