Description
This is Brad Befus' top carp producing fly. Depending on color it can imitate a leech, damselfly, or crayfish. Check out Brad's carp article in the September 2003 issue of FLY FISHERMAN.
Recipe
HOOK: #8-10 Tiemco 200R, 3XL.THREAD: Fluorescent orange.
TAIL: Rusty brown rabbit fur with a few strands of flash.
UNDERBODY: Lead wire.
ABDOMEN: Rusty brown rabbit fur, dubbed
THORAX: Dubbed rusty brown rabbit fur.
WINGCASE: Peacock herl.
LEGS: Palmered mottled brown hen saddle hackle
